Letters Beyond Form:
Chicago Types
The Letters Beyond Form catalog is the legacy of the Letters Beyond Form: Chicago Types exhibition. The book is very object focused and takes less of an emphasis on copy then it does on visuals, setting it apart from other exhibition catalogs.
This catalog was co-designed with Amira Hegazy.
In addition to designing the catalog. I was also the Curatorial Assitant on this project. Learn more about the exhibition here.

Mirroring the exhibition layout, colors were assigned to their prospective section.

Oversized letters were used for color blocking, with an italicized overlay.

The catalog is
176 pages.

Hiya: The Magazine

I served as Art Director for the Maiden Issue of Hiya: The Magazine, a publication targeting pre-teens. Hiya empowers young people to prioritize mental health, foster resilience, kindness, and community through a relatable new magazine, all centered on promoting self-care and mental wellness.

All the illustrations were drawn using procreate.
The magazine was meant to be young and vibrant.

In addition to designing the layout, I also worked in creative services to create advertisements that were featured in the magazine.

I use the logo to create frames for product images.
Designed with branding colors in mind.
